Harper Midwest participates in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Jefferson County's annual event. Fundraising efforts to help eliminate cancer are year-round at Harper, and consist of things like: "Wear Pink or Pay Up" campaign promoting breast cancer awareness; hosting homemade meals, bake sales, soda can redemption, yard sales, apparel sales, Harper For the Cause product sales, miscellaneous contests and auctions. The Harper Brush Cancer Sweepers team consists of 12 to 16 members.

The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes is a yearly campaign raising funds to find a cure for diabetes. This Harper East team consists of 8 to 12 members.

The Harper East Get Clean Crew is active in the March of Dimes March for Babies each year, which help every baby be born healthy. The Harper team slogan "Business and Community: Together to Prevent Premature Birth" explains the importance of their involvement. Fundraising efforts consist mostly of raffle drawings. The Get Clean Crew team consists of 10 to 16 members.
